Have you ever wanted to bring your dog to a café? Interested in pottery? Well, join us in our journey of creating a place where dog parents can sit along side with their pup as they sip their drink, while watching potters create. Our dream is to create a cafe that is dog friendly where you can bring your beloved doggos inside the shop and enjoy your drink INDOORS WITH YOUR DOG! This is a space for the curious, experienced, or aspiring potters where they can get busy with clay. In the cafe, there will be a community pottery studio to serve Calgarians and provide 24/7 access to studio members to come at their convenience and take classes to learn pottery. If you’re hungry or thirsty, grab something from the café and #BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog)

We believe that yoga and mindfulness are essential tools for the social and emotional well-being of children. We feel that the complexity of yoga and mindfulness can be taught in a simplified way through visual means, which was the purpose for creating the cards. We honour and acknowledge the curiosity of all children and we hope these yoga practice cards will inspire and uplift children at home, in schools, and beyond.

Seed to Sage was created to help the residents of the city of Calgary to grow their own food, take charge of the health of our cities environment, and empower others to care about the Earth. We design food gardens, tea, and herbal gardens, all in permaculture style. This is to enrich our suburban areas into productive micro-climates that help humans and the surrounding wildlife to have more food security. Our goal is to educate our clients in native plant species, growing their own food, the cycles of nature, and how to get more connected. We want to see Calgary thriving in abundance and being more self-reliant. We started this campaign to allow for this business to become a full-time job, desiring to put all of our energy into creating ecological gardens around Calgary. It is our passion to see a more beautiful city environment where people have more food security.

My name is Christina Goodvin, of GoodvinDesigns. I am a mechanical engineer who has worked with sustainable and regenerative building, living, and growing systems for over 2 decades. I bring the natural building world and the building code together through research, innovative design, and documentation. My specialty is weaving creative ideas into reality while adapting with the local needs of communities. We need new solutions. The old models are gone or clearly starting to falter. The time for building technologies that can quickly adapt to a changing and challenging environment is now, and the joining of natural building and 3D printing promises an open-source solution, a home-for-all with plenty of room for artistry, accessibility, community, and health. Plus, kids LOVE it. I know mine do! The fastest way forward is with the Scara Elite, a 35k printer that can print full components and envelopes, a big ask, I know. The closer I can get to that printer, the faster I can start bringing natural building, 3D printing, and the building code together. But times are tight, and even a chance to start with the small WASP 2040 Clay printer will allow characterization of mixes and a path towards the Scara. All funds raised go towards a printer, or to offset a loan for the Scara Elite. Thank you for supporting this dream.
