Our curated collections of uniquely designed Tableskapes™ placemats create for stunning table presentations to have your guests talking. Each collection is carefully designed with options to match any style or function.

Market introduction and scale!

About Tableskapes™

We love a beautiful table around which we can gather with family and friends. Beautiful table settings often use fine linens and fabric runners, and although this looks stunning, it’s not practical. Spilled food and drink make caring for these table additions difficult. So they sit in the drawer, unused. Caring for these becomes preventative as the hassle to keep them clean is another big job added to our already busy schedules. 
 

We created Tableskapes™ placemats to be both beautiful and easy to care for - simply wipe clean with warm soapy water. Tableskapes™ are made of Stone Paper® and use zero trees in their manufacturing. Every Tableskapes™ placemat is double-sided with matched designs on both front and back.

As a printed product, Tableskapes™ are easily manufactured in North America and are affordable, so that changing your Tableskapes™ placemats with the season is as easy as keeping your Tableskapes™ clean. Bring artwork from the walls, and enjoy them on the tabletop - Tableskapes™ can be designed to look like fabric, cold-pressed paper, tile, stone, leather, wood, and even wool!

What are Tableskapes™ made from?

Our Tableskapes™ are made from Stone Paper and are 85% calcium carbonate (an inert natural mineral) and 15% HPDE. They use zero trees and use no water, dyes or harmful chemicals in manufacturing. They are 100% recyclable with standard category 2 plastics, are photodegradable, and will completely break down in 9-12 months when exposed to UV light.

How durable are Tableskapes™?

As they are a coated print product, Tableskapes™ can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap (like dish soap) ensuring that you get many uses out of your Tableskapes™ products. Unlike craft paper table products that are only single-use, we expect Tableskapes™ to last for a few months of daily use. However, we don't expect them to last forever. After regular use, Tableskapes™ will begin to show normal wear and tear - this will increase based on level of use, of course. When they are worn out, they can be easily recycled with the rest of your household paper and plastic products, or can be repurposed to give your Tableskapes™ a second life, and last even longer!

Other than the dinner table, how else can I use Tableskapes™?

For the 4-legged friends: Tableskapes are great for under dog or cat dishes to keep the floor clean of spills and messy pets.

Help with Gardening: We’ve seen them cut into circles to line the bottom of planters for next season’s container gardening.

In the Mudroom: In snowy and wet climates we have seen them used to line the bottom of ugly boot trays and add some colour at the front door.

Handling Liquids: DIY folks use old Tableskapes™ to help prevent spills or with handling liquids - simply, roll into a funnel shape to help with adding oil to the hybrid, gasoline to the lawnmower, or extra paint back into the can.

Protect the Garage: You can save the garage floor from oil and transmission drips by sliding a Tableskapes™ under the car to catch drips.

Worry-free Crafting: For the family arts and crafts night, old Tableskapes™ are great for keeping paint and glue on the project and off the furniture.

Simple Liners: Line the kitty litter pan or use them as shelf paper under dishes in the cupboard. The repurposing opportunities are endless!

Can I recycle Tableskapes™?

Absolutely! Recycling is easy - just toss them in with any of your "Category 2" recyclables and they will be handled by your local recycling center.
