Red Deer, Alberta has always been a little bit of the sleepy city between tons of fun things to do around Alberta. Recently my husband and I were talking about fun affordable things to do around the city during COVID. I mentioned renting fat tire bikes or e-bikes to explore the trails around Red Deer, and as we were throwing out ideas we found it was very hard to find gear unless you went to the bigger cities or into the mountain towns. I want to have fun affordable things for Red Deer families to rent conveniently here. Our dream is to build a small fleet of affordable things families can rent for a day out or a weekend...Whether you are renting our fat tire bikes and heading out west to do the trails, or renting our power assist bikes to take the family out through the many Red Deer trails...or just hopping around to our local restaurants and breweries for the day...We want to be the location to rent the gear before your trip or staycation...convenient and local and affordable fun in Red Deer.

We are experienced business owners who have lived in Central Alberta for 17 years. We love the community and all that Alberta has to offer. We just want Red Deer residents to be able to grab cool gear here in town and take off to enjoy our city, or all of the beauty we have out west and all around us wether it be for a day, a weekend or an extended trip. We want to make it convenient...because when you have a weekend staycation or a weekend away in Banff or Jasper who wants to spend part of their holidays in rental lines?

We have the space to store the bikes, motor assist bikes and motorized scooters and all the the bike racks in Red Deer County at our current shop... so that part is easy. We just need the funds to start to purchase the gear to rent.

We will start small. buy 2-4 fat tire bikes and 2-4 motor assist bikes and 3 bike racks. We will build the website and form the company. We will then start building the business by placing some social media ads, creating content with our gear and grassroots word of mouth. We want this to grow into a placr that every family in Red Deer can afford to have some fun and create memories with their families and friends.

We are in the idea conception phase. We have chosen the all or nothing model to ensure we will have enough money to purchase at least four bikes to add to the fleet and offer rewards. Hopefully from there we will do nothing but grow. Let's make this happen, Alberta! Fat tire bikes can be ridden in all months... let's have a fun activity in Red Deer that everyone can enjoy.
