Campaign Description

We have partnered up with a few Alberta businesses and using their skills to address the need for a high quality face mask for non medical front line essential service workers. The current masks that are in the market are all open sides and protect the public from the wearers own spew. This does not filter the air the wearer is breathing, therefore does very little to protect the essential worker. The need to address this sector is very large, and a product that seals to the wearers face has been requested.

Why we started

Breathe Safely Alberta has formed with the goal of being able to provide an extremely high quality reusable product to essential workers and the general public for a reasonable price.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, the acquisition of quality PPE for essential workers and the general public has be in high demand. With the high demand come a price tag that has been prohibitive for many businesses wanting to protect their employees and their customers.

Your donations go directly towards helping to cover some of the initial cash requirements for the design, testing, certifications, and raw materials for the mask, and will help us minimize the cost to the end user.

Breathe Safely Alberta wants to help protect essential workers so we can adapt to our "new normal" and keep every Albertan and Canadian safe during these unprecedented times.

Who is involved?

A local group of operating and distribution companies have been collaborating in the design and manufacturing of a health mask to support the working public sector that must keep our economy alive during this crises. The involved businesses are Alberta Garments, Alta Injection, Curve Distributing, Inno Tech Alberta, Alberta Innovates & a packaging team. All are current manufacturing or distribution companies operating today. This is not a start up company but rather a start up product.  These local businesses are offering their services at the lowest cost possible to alleviate the cost to the vulnerable sectors of society.
