At Bundles of Hope our goal is to provide diapers to mothers in need, but our vision is to help low income families through the production and sales of sustainable swaddle blankets and other baby products.
We are sourcing our sustainable fabrics from a supplier in Vancouver, and having our swaddle blankets created by low income Calgarian mothers. We would be supplying each mother with a sewing machine so they don't need to spend their own income on this item. We are donating the diapers to the Calgary Food Bank. In order to keep their legal title of being a food bank they can’t spend any donation money on anything except food, which is why we are going to donate to their services. Diapers are still a huge need, however they need to be donated as diapers as opposed to funds.
We started this crowd funding campaign to bring awareness to these issues as well as fund our startup and approach to solving this problem. We want to provide consumers with quality products as well as make a difference in our world.
We will use this money to buy an initial fabric order, consult with a clothing designer, purchase sewing machines, pay our first employees, prepare our packaging, and build inventory.
